How the Guard Tour System Works

The guard carries a handheld RFID patrol device while on duty. RFID checkpoint tags are installed at important locations such as entrances, corridors, floors, warehouses, parking areas, boundary walls, electrical rooms, server rooms and other security-sensitive points. When the guard reaches a checkpoint, the device reads the tag and records the visit with date and time stamp. The data can be uploaded to a Cloud, Web Server or PC Server through GPRS, Wi-Fi or LAN depending on deployment requirements.

RFID Checkpoint Tag Details
